I had an argument with someone once that no fat didn’t mean no calories. In fact some no fat foods had more calories than the regular food.
Reminds me of a former co-worker, who brought in a box of cherry licorice for everyone to snack on. I begged off, citing my weight. She told me that these were actually a healthy snack – and pointed at the large label on the package: “NO FAT”. She wasn’t happy when I reminded her that fats come from animal products, and certain beans, and that the major constituents of her “healthy snack” were sugar and boiled hooves.
Have you tried Splenda yet? Sugar substitute that is made from sugar. To me tastes just like the normal stuff, we even are able to cook with it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have had a number of friends swear by it as a sugar substitute.
I have tried it and had an adverse reaction to it. I know that it is basically a left handed sugar, but apparently not close enough for my weird metabolism. I may try it again at a later date, but I am going to stick to a little bit of sugar in my diet.
