This almost slipped through

Posted By on July 13, 2016

Almost broke the chain of entries but I remembered.

I have been working through the pieces of the puppets to get to the whole.

The object I am proudest of is the Eye of Aggamoto.

From the film

I am down to the belts and the cape which is a piece of art in itself.

Tomorrow is getting ready for Shoreleave and the last bits and pieces for the puppets.

I am grateful that it turned out the way it did.

Monday Motivation 4 days till Shoreleave 2016

Posted By on July 11, 2016

I have been working on the puppets today. That has mostly been my whole day.

Tomorrow I will be posting pics of where I am and where I am going with this.

Caroline did all the laundry. I am very proud of her.

I am grateful for the next generation doing the laundry.

Basically I started to sketch out the clothing for the characters then got involved in family stuff.

And I worked on this

The beginnings of the Eye of Aggamoto

Today I have to get a lot more done.

I am grateful that I found my clay.

Happy Birthday to my brother Patrick 2016 edition

Posted By on July 7, 2016

My brother Patrick is celebrating his birthday today.

He is a wonderful father to his daughters and loving husband to his wife.

He is the best gamer in the family. His ability to paint miniature figures is amazing and they are true works of art.

I use to watch him play video games because his hand/eye coordination is really good. I watched him play the first Star Wars game and Tomb Raider along with a lot of arcade style games.

We have similar tastes in reading and I was quite pleased when he started raiding my bookshelves and asking me for things to read.

He has a quirky sense of humor that I find amusing. He’s good at telling a shaggy dog story. He had a very distinctive laugh.

He is much loved by his friends and family. He is a true friend and goes the extra mile needed to help someone in need. When Patrick is your friend, you know you have someone in your corner.

He is one of the few people I know who was born in Atlanta rather than moving there.

Happy Birthday Dr. P. Hope the day is a good one for you. Love you lots. Your big sister Kath.

I am grateful that I have my brother Patrick in my life.
