At least I got the lawn mowed

It may or may not rain today. The lawn was looking rather scruffy so I pulled out the lawn mower, plugged into my iPhone , mowed the lawn and listened to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I started with Arthur and Ford being picked up by the Heart of Gold and finished with Broomfondle and Magicthighs finding out the answer to the ultimate question. I have to deal with a downed tree in the back and some other things that need to go bye-bye but that is for another day.
Laundry went pretty well. I didn’t finish it because I went out with the family to lunch and some other family activities which threw me off my laundry rhythm but I got it down to the last load by the time for bed. So today I finish what I started and then start on the next project.
Is anyone else sick of who did what in baseball in 2003? I don’t care anymore. What good is it going to do today? Do we just nullify all the records set that year and go from there? Yes, a lot of guys were juiced and some of the stuff they were using was legal at the time and is no more but that has happened with a lot of things over the years. Peter once said you could pump steroids into him until the cows come home, he still couldn’t hit a fast ball thrown at him by a professional pitcher. There is skill involved here that steroids or HGH will never give the guy. So I figure it is juiced until proven otherwise for the early 2000s.
Football camps are starting up and we are seeing the usual hold-outs and little altercations that always seem to happen at the beginning of the season. I have heard the usual chats of this will be the year for the
32 days to DragonCon. It will be sooner than I think. Everyone off to worldcon, have fun.
I am grateful that I did get the lawn done this morning.
