Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

Posted By on June 7, 2005

The promised rain didn’t really show up. It misted most of the time. I have to pull out the hose and water the grass soon. We are supposed to head up to the 90s today. I am not looking forward to it.

Got a few things done yesterday. I saw “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” with Ariel. It was a very good movie with a powerhouse cast of young women. It is a tear-jerker so bring plenty of tissues. I liked that it did not have a tide end but like life was a bit messy. Not everything is resolved but enough is that you feel satisfied when you leave the theater. Yes, I would classify it as a “chick” flick.

Did better bowling in terms of the team. I was having a not so good night but we managed to take 7 points rather than 4. Right before we went to the bowling alley, I caught my thumb on the screen door and yanked it around hard. It hurt off and on the whole night but didn’t really make that much of a difference to my score.

Today is dental work that I need done and a few other things including “Mommy and Me.”

I am grateful that I did bowl as well as I did considering how badly I could have been doing.

Yes. I admit. I am a 43 year old man who watches Gilmore Girls. I like the one line zingers, and the comments that Luke makes. But there is no way I could go see “Pants” unless I went with a female friend.

    “Gilmore girls.”

Ye gads, I can’t STAND that show.
