Vices

My vice died. Well it is not totally operational any more. It lost a locking washer so when I need to tighten down on an object I have to move the vice closed and then turn it until tight. A bit of a pain but I can still work with it.
I saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Here is my short review without spoilers. One of the best last lines in the movie. Overall I really enjoyed myself. It is a retro movie down to the last detail. It is a movie that needs to be seen on a large screen for the detail that exists within the shots. I know most of the movie
For me, the fast-breaker was a Granny Smith apple dipped in honey (GS apples are the best ones for honey-dipping!), which Robin kindly shared to toast a sweet year. Then I made an English breakfast of eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes, sausage and Canadian bacon, which I am fully aware did not automatically become kosher just because I cooked it. That was followed by Haagen-Dasz Bananas Foster ice cream, which I have decided I will eat FIRST next year.
“I am grateful for polar fleece fabric”.
Is that one of your vices too?
