Caroline was not a happy little girl yesterday. Her nose was not her friend. She looked so puzzled every time it ran. It was a new experience for her. At her nap and her bedtime I filled the humidifier and both times it seems to help. This morning she is better than she was yesterday. Yesterday she was a having a hard time drinking anything because her nose was so stopped up. Today she is able to breath through her nose again. She keeps pointing to her nose and saying,
Mets? BoSox? Ha! Try being a Phillies fan…another season of futility, what appears to be a lame duck manager in Larry Bowa…but at least we got to suffer in a great new ballpark…
I’ll give you the newsgroup argument that you brought up. I agree that it should be on topic. Still, would it kill some people to be kind and tell the person politely where they can go find what they’re looking for?

eclark, I’m guessing you weren’t on Usenet during the start of perpetual September circa the early 90s. After a while, you get *very* tired of politely telling newbie and newbie to get a clue and where clues were located (yes, I realize that’s not polite; it’d be phrased more politely, but that’d be the gist) and some significant percentage then whining about how dare you tell them what to do, who put you in charge, etc.

In regards to Caroline, I think it’s something going with children that age. I’ve got twin nephews whom I babysit for once a week, while my sister does some running around. Over the weekend, they had the runny, stuffy nose thing going on. They were cleared up some on Monday, though.
