Preview of the Terrible Twos

There is a kiss of autumn in the air this morning. A hint of things to come. Leaves falling and school starting. The weather changing from short sleeves in the morning to needing long sleeves or a light jacket which will be totally useless in the afternoon. I think fall is my favorite season.

Caroline will be 21 months shortly. When she gets to two, she will no longer be a baby but she will always be my baby. Last night I had a preview of the terrible twos. Caroline has been pretty much an even tempered child. Not one to throw fits unless something was really wrong. Not anymore. I took her to the bowling alley to watch Peter and Ariel bowl in their league which will be ending next week. She has been running around the bowling alley since she could walk. She had been to the bowling alley since she was about a month old and the sound of the balls hitting pins put her to sleep. She was running full tilt around the alley. Most of the families in the league know her so they dodged as she came by. She was fine for a while and then she started trying to go places that she shouldn
