A good finish is hard to find

Posted By on August 1, 2004

I have been reading more lately. Part of it steams from my lack of Internet. Let me rephrase my first sentence, I have been reading more books lately. Some are by new authors, some by established writers, and some collaborations. Not all of the books have been fiction either. It is one of those times that I am trying for a nice mix.

I finally read the DaVinci Code after a number of people recommended it to me. I want my time back. That book is so badly written with strange information dumping flashbacks in the middle of people

Ever read any Lois McMaster Bujold? If so, I’d be curious as to what you thought of her stuff — IMO, it’s usually pretty lean and ends well. Her books are pretty much always quick reads, but well worth it.

I love to read and end up sorting books like food. Some are just appetizers, some light desserts and some meat and potato entrees. Depends on my mood which one I want to read. Thanks for the review. I was wondering whether I should pick up “The DaVinci Code” I won’t bother now.
