I had one of those nights that I was either awake and not able to fall asleep or when I was asleep I had really weird vivid dreams. The one that I clearly remember was that we (the David Family) were at a convention. Peter had to go off to a panel and the girls had gone off to see another panel. I was in a food court kinda place and was trying to gather everything up that had been left there. Every time I thought I had done so, I would find something else I had to gather and figure out how I was going to get it all back to the table.
So this morning I am feeling a little discombobulated. But I have coffee so I am hoping that I feel more focused soon.
Got stuff done yesterday and will achieve more today. We watched Labyrinth with Caroline. It was interesting seeing it with someone who didn’t know what was going to happen next. I had forgotten how much peril there was.
May get Ariel working on a short project today or have Caroline start it and Ariel clean it up.
Either way I have to get the day going.
I am grateful for things that are done.

Today we are going to the Genius Bar at our local Apple Store to see if we can get some answers to the questions we have about both Ariel’s iPhone and my iPad.
I have the bodies taped and now the sculpting begins. I think I am going to try something new for the Fox and the Badger. So a lot to do and less than a week to do it in.
Yeah the Queen/Bowie song “Pressure” is going through my head a lot today.
Tomorrow Peter is off to New Mexico for Bubonicon where he is the Guest of Honor. Ariel has to start packing up for school. Caroline has to get ready for school as well.
We are rapidly running to fall and the beginning of the school year. Where did the summer go?
I am grateful for anyone who can fix the problems with our Apple products.

Especially if you ride the LIRR. Due to a fire in a switching system that is over 100 years old, everything at the Jamaica station was FUBAR’d. I know some people who had a really hard time getting home.
In my neck of the woods, I helped Ariel finish up a quilt she has been planning all summer. She picked out the fabric and the pattern she wanted and I sewed it. Took most of the afternoon, but she has what she wanted.

It was rather nasty weather all evening and today is starting with some rather heavy downpours. We do need the rain. Our lawn looks rather sickly but it does prevent activities outside today.
So today is a few errands and then back to doll making.

Where did the year go?
We are now at crunch time for DragonCon for me. I have one errand to run to the post office then back to the clay.
We had some very wild weather move through last night. It seems to be continuing this morning. I need to go out and do a quick property damage survey to make sure there isn’t something I need to deal with.
Here is what I got done yesterday. Add wings and they are done.
Now onto the foxes, goblins, badgers and other critters.
I am grateful to Peter for taking the girls out so I had some time in the house to myself to work.
