I am looking forward to this evenings viewing of Doctor Who.
Those who have known me for a bit know how much I love that show.
Doctor Who has introduced me to people I would not have met otherwise and through that I have made many good friends.
Doctor Who gave me a professional writing credit. I have a story published in the Big Finish Anthology “Short Trips: Qualities of Leadership” entitled “On a Pedestal” about the 2nd Doctor, Jamie, Victoria, and William Wallace. I have even signed copies of that.
My Doctor Who puppets have been admired by many. I have used them to amuse and entertain many people. Most recently at DragonCon we did a sketch in the Puppet Slam called “Lord of Time”. A number of actors own puppets of their Doctor Who characters. It is a conversation starter.
We also did a sketch at Farpoint many many years ago where we mashed up Dr. Who and the Grinch that Stole Christmas.
I was a member of the Mighty Rassilon Art Players for a number of years along with the Terminus TARDIS.
Today we are going to boil and color eggs. Tomorrow is Easter and I will do my annual Easter Egg Hunt. I just have to find the baskets for it and set the rest of it up.
I am grateful that Doctor Who is back and able to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year.

I met J.K. Woodward through Peter because JK became the regular artist on Fallen Angel for IDW. We hung out at conventions, watched each other’s tables, and had a lot of interesting conversations.
Hurricane Sandy came through New York and wiped out the home of J.K. and his lovely wife. Not a little bit wiped out, totally wiped out with most of their belongings.
Even with all this going on in his life, JK put together an art auction for Peter’s benefit. He did all the leg work and got the auction up and running. And we are very grateful to him for everything he did for us.
Now it is our turn to step up and spread the word for him.

So go take a look. There are such a variety of prints for a variety of fandoms available. Even if you can’t get a print, please spread the word.

Today Caroline and I are going out to several places just the two of us. She needs a new swimsuit having sprouted another couple of inches over the winter and the one she has now cuts into her arms. We are debating as to what kind of swimsuit I am going to let her get. Bikini is out but a tanktini is a possibility. I prefer she wore a one piece but she has her own style and taste now so I have to keep an opened mind. She does understand that my word is the final word in this matter but that doesn’t mean I won’t have a sulk if I nix an outfit.
We also want to go look at some fabrics for some projects we have in mind.
I think it will be good for Caroline to have some time alone with me that is focus on her. She is still working out how her world has changed. With that has come questions and answers that she doesn’t particularly care for but she knows that she is getting the truth and that is the way it is.
I need to also find some pieces for a project that I want to finish this weekend.
I am grateful for Caroline’s abilities to cope with change.

I have had that acting exercise ditty going through my head all morning.
This afternoon I have to pick up Ariel from the ferry and I really haven’t a clue what I will be driving in.
Tonight is the first night of Passover which is why Ariel is coming home early. I have had to find ways of making kosher for Passover food that is within the limits of Peter’s diet. The sodium content of most of the premade foods is through the roof so today I make low sodium matzo ball soup pretty much from scratch. I have a nice leg o’ lamb to roast up along with other things for the Seder.
That long with some cleaning that needs to be done and laundry will take up most of the day.
Sundown where we are is at 7:09 pm so that gives me a time frame to work backwards from.
Good Passover to all who celebrate it.
I am grateful for companies that actually think about the foods they are producing in the current world.

I wonder if anyone has any brackets for the NCAA basketball tourney that aren’t totally screwed up. The only bright spot I had was the Harvard win. But the tournament has been brutal to the higher seeds.
Went to see Peter’s family that lives in Connecticut yesterday. They hadn’t seen Peter in a while and it was time. Caroline had a blast with her cousins. The adults had fun too. The conversation went all over the place. We also met their new dog, which is a rescue. She is a real sweet dog named Myka after the character on Warehouse 13.
Today I get ready for Passover which starts at sundown tomorrow. I make my list and make sure I have everything I need for the next couple of days. Ariel is coming home tomorrow to help get ready for the Seder for the first night of Passover.
There are some other things that need to be done. This included pilling a cat that is really a pain to pill. Treat is having some health problems which are causing me some bleeding while I shove pills down his throat. That along with cat box cleaning and more laundry which can be done in between the other things that I am doing today. Promises to be a pretty full day.
