Saturday comes in on little cat feet

Still don’t have a clean way to put photos on my various web logs. I have been putting photos up on Instagram(puppetmaker40) and Twitter (@kathodavid) and Tumblr (puppetmaker40) if you care to look. I will also be putting up my art show pieces in progress at those places.
After DragonCon, I will be putting a mess of puppets up for sale. I have too many and they need a good home. I am still figuring out where I am going to do this but there will be puppets including some of my Dr. Who puppets that have been used in performance. I am also thinking of opening up for commissions again.
I do have five bodies on my worktable ready for the next step, which is face and hair then onto the costumes for the puppets.
Today is a day of rain apparently. We had one heck of a thunderstorm last night and my phone went off with a warning for flooding in the area because of the downpour. I am glad I got my gluing done yesterday.
The other day was international cat day to which our cats informed us that every day is International Cat Day. I have to agree. Right now I have one cat at each hip with the other one curled up on the couch across from me. Which is good since Facebook reminded me that we lost Vanilli five years ago today. Which means that I am going to have a series of photos popping up since we lost 3 cats in about 3 weeks that year.
On the positive side, it is 5 years since Peter had his stroke and he’s still here writing and bowling. DragonCon was the end of our “Peter is fine” tour that we took that year. He’s still fine and I love him very much.
I am grateful that Peter did bounce back from his stroke.
I am glad to see you back, but I am also glad that you took some time in July. The con schedule must be crazy for the David family, and breaks are sometimes very needed.
Have almost finished the Killing Glen book and have really enjoyed it. The stories (the methods of murder) are so entertaining and varied. Great fun!
Enjoyed seeing you at Shore Leave and look forward to Farpoint in 2019.
My cat, Pepper, totally agrees about every day being “all about him.”
