Día de los Muertos 2008

Happy Día de los Muertos to those who celebrate it.
I heard an interesting article on NPR by a woman who said that she would like to sit down with her dead grandmother and discuss the current election. Personally I would love to sit down with my grandparents and tell them about my life since they left it. I would love to tell them about Caroline.
Public Service Announcement!!!
For those in the US, we go back to standard time tonight so remember to turn your clocks back. I am looking at getting the clock to match my biorhythm.
My life
I got my flu shot today at the grocery store of all places. The nurse was really good. I didn’t feel a thing. Now let’s see if I have a reaction which, considering the rest of the year, I am expecting to happen.
I have to make a flapper headband for Ariel for a party tonight. I’ll get pictures. She really likes her dress.
I think the Halloween decorations will stay up until after the election and then I will take them down.
Now off to take Treat Williams the cat to the groomer to take care of a flea problems.
I am grateful for lovely fall afternoons.
Along the theme of you opening post, I would love to be able to sit down with my parents. Mum never met her son in law (my husband) or her daughter in law (my brother’s wife). Neither Mum or Dad ever saw their grandchildren either.
As I saw in an earlier post, we don’t “do” Hallowe’en, however there are plently of “spooky” decorations around town, as our district is celebrating the annual “Festival of Fisher’s Ghost”.
