Happy Birthday RTD

Posted By on April 27, 2008

You brought back Doctor Who when I thought I would never see a new episode again.

You gave us John Barrowman in very tight pants and a lot of other folks who look good in tight pants on Torchwood.

You brought back Sarah Jane and created a show I can show to my 5 year old without worry.

You brought my favorite fandom to a whole new generation and created a bunch of new fans.

You so rock.

I am grateful that Russell T Davies was born so I can have more Doctor Who to watch.

“You brought back Sarah Jane and created a show I can show to my 5 year old without worry.” Unless you are watching the advertisements. I was quite surprised Friday night to see an advertisement for a clearly adult product during Sarah Jane. I can’t remember what it was, but I definitely thought “what were we they thinking?” when it came on.

Meanwhile, yes – thank you Russell T Davies for doing what many people thought could never be done (and would never happen) many times over.

Arggghhh! Sorry about that. The comments window didn’t go away, so I thought it wasn’t responding.

thank you RTD for Torchwood. It may not always be perfect but it’s a dámņ sight better than nearly anything else on TV.

and I’d like to add my thank you as well for John Barrowman in tight pants and David Tennant in anything or nothing… in keeping with the Torchwood theme.

You’ve put the fun back in tee vee.

    Happy Birthday

oh wow..i didn’t that ol Russell T and i shared just one day difference in bds! Two great new Who folks in the same months (no..I mean David T and Russell T…definantly NOT me!)

hmm….think i’ll have to watch those ads during the Sarah Janes more closely..i didn’t see anything offensive. but then again,i grew up in the 60s and 70s and grew up watching ads for beer and cigs as well as feminine hygeine products on my sit coms!
