Rotating Holiday?

Someone told me that the Catholic church decided that St. Patrick’s Day would be on the 15th rather than the 17th because Palm Sunday is the 16th and that would put the party during Holy Week. Did anyone else get the memo on this?
Today is 3.14, anyone else going to have pi(e)?
I have my schedule for LunaCon but it may not be the final one. If you want to find me, try my panels or the art show. I should be at the art show reception which I believe is this evening except when I will be making tribbles.
Peter has a very busy schedule at Wizard World LA but he will be at his table when he is not on panels. Be sure you say Hi if you are going there.
We are looking forward to this weekend.
I am grateful for conventions.
“Today is 3.14, anyone else going to have pi(e)?”
That’s very clever. However it doesn’t work here as we write the “short date” as dd/mm/yy, so today is 14/03/08.
Have a good weekend.
Addendum:
WE write the “long date” as “14th March, 2008”.

I Need to be making tribbles … the puppy decided they are the best toy to be had, and carries one all over the house. Far, far cheaper than bought dog toys (and safer and less expensive than lap top cords).
I think I shall make a pi to go with dinner now.
Shoot — Pi Day. Almost forgot!
I may just have to have a pizza pi(e) for dinner. I’m sure Katherine will object. 🙂

Well, it would be the dinner that doesn’t end….
Enough with the circular reasoning already.

Speaking of St. Patty’s Day, my girlfriend and I just left Savannah, GA, Thursday morning, just as the festivities there were getting started. It’s a HUGE deal in Savannah. But we needed to head back north to see some friends while we had the chance. We spent Thursday night with Bill Mulligan and his lovely wife and Friday with Jerry and Jennifer Chandler (and also with my cousin Rob but no one here would know him as he doesn’t frequent this blog).
Sadly, we’re headed back to Rochester, NY, today. I understand the weather forecast is calling for “crappy.”
Speaking of conventions, my girlfriend and I may be going to DragonCon this year. PAD is on the guest list. Will you be making an appearance as well, Kathleen? If so, will there be a chance for us to stop by and say “hello?”
