And Here I though 2008 was going to be better.

I’m going to be a bit cryptic here. Some know all the details but the family involved has told who they want to tell and I am leaving it at that. If it is addressed publicly then I will be less obtuse. If you know who it is, I ask that his name not be brought up in the comments at this time. Thanks. If you have a guess and want to check, then e-mail me ( puppetmaker (at) gmail (dot) Com)

We found out this morning that a family that are some of our best friends were told that their eldest son has leukemia. It is apparent the best kind of leukemia to get if you are going to get it. He is under going treatment now. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I am grateful for medical treatments that didn’t exist even 10 years ago.

We’ve had some doozies of years past, where the stress actually endangered my health. Last year, I think, managed to top everything, with unrelenting disasters from broken necks to bankruptcy. We’re exactly 3 weeks into a new year, and this news is the 4th major hit I’ve taken in the past 2 weeks, certainly among the worst I can imagine. At this point, I’m afraid to get out of bed in the morning, but it kind of puts all those other problems in perspective, and they don’t seem quite as bad any more. Gods bless.

Just keep the faith, whatever yours is. We had our year of hëll in 2006; things will get better, so will Robbie!

Say an extra prayer and give your kids an extra hug today, you never know what’s going to happen.
