I am addicted to Caffeine
Posted By Kathleen David on November 8, 2007
I managed to get through yesterday with only minor stomach complaints and I did get a few of my much needed errands run. The larder is restocked and the laundry is where it needs to be at this point. I also caught up on my lack of sleep from the night before.
I went to bed at a reasonable hour after seeing a rather hilarious South Park. Is it my imagination or has this season just been so much better than the last few? And slept pretty well through the night only to awake this morning with that lovely headache that I recognize as a lack of Caffeine in my system. *Sigh* So I have been dealing with that and some major house rearranging I have need to do for a while but I needed Caroline out of the house to do it. So Peter took Caroline off to a doctor’s appointment and then out to lunch and to the mall to get some tights and socks for her.
Then it is some doll work that I have needed to get done for a while.
I have done some of my writing for the day and we currently stand at 13209 for the word count. So by then end of the day I need to add another 400 words to be at today’s goal. I think I can do that.
I am grateful for time to get things done.
From one heavy addict to another, I’ve got four words for you.
Chocolate
Covered
Coffee
Beans
Not only do they come in a great varity of flavors now, but they take zero prep time and can go anywhere you want to be.
And the mint or cream covered ones are great this time of year. Just don’t give the things to amateurs. I’ve been cursed out by several officer’s wives for giving a small handful to some of the guys on long shifts before when they were about to crash. seems that they turned into hyperactive loons by the time they got home.
Jerry, have you been looking in my pantry? I have a bag of chocolate covered coffee beans that my MIL brought back from her holiday at Lismore (Far North Coast of NSW) the week before last. She went on a tour of a coffee plantation, and brought me back, ok, 2 bags of chocolate coated beans, plus a thermal plunger mug. IT’S BRILLIANT! happy happy joy joy 🙂
