Back from UFC 2007

I think it was the car that aggravated my back or the long trip. Either way yesterday night was pretty miserable for me.
Not yesterday at the convention. I had a great time talking to friends both old and new. I got to hear Henry Winkler talk and answer a bunch of questions. That man could so easily be a motivational speaker. We said our good-byes and headed for home.
Overall the convention was a lot of fun. Peter and the girls had a great time. Any problems I had were with my health rather than the convention. Peter sold a lot of books and scripts which is always good. His reading of the first chapter of “Tigerheart” (June 2008 from Del Rey) went over very well.
I haven’t done the math but I am not behind on NaNoWriMo yet.
I am grateful for all the fun we had at UFC.
I just wanted to wish you well. My mom has had severe back trouble for decades, so I can understand how horrid long drives must be for you.
Glad to hear that you had a great time at UFC. My husband Bryan had a blast meeting Peter, Wendy and Henry.
Good job with NaNo, by the way. I’m not behind so much as haven’t really started. ^_^ I’ve written a bare minimum this weekend, which is odd for me. I write like I speak: in lengthy tangents. I know what the pieces are and where the story is headed, but for once, I’m not focused on the word count.
Cheers.
I was stunned, years ago, but at least a decade after Happy Days ended, to hear Winkler talk about his dyslexia. It turns out many successful people are dyslexic.
