Mother’s Day 2007

Posted By on May 13, 2007

First Happy Mothers Day to all the various forms of mothers that read this.

I got two cool gifts from Ariel and Caroline. I got the box set of the first two seasons of “Robin of Sherwood” and a really cool CD player that looks like a large version of Jack Sparrow’s compass. I also got to sleep in and am going out for a nice lunch later. Probably watch the Mets Games this afternoon with Peter and Caroline. A nice relaxing day is planned for me.

The Nebulas were nice. I caught up with a bunch of friends I see rarely. Peter introduced me to Ron Moore who writes Battlestar Galactica who Peter knew back in Ron’s Star Trek: Next Generation days. Ron did a very good job as toastmaster. The dinner was not bad at all and the chicken tasted rather nice in a reduced red wine sauce.

The weather is nice today but a bit windy. Pleasant day to look at but a bit nippy to walk around in.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

I am grateful for my Mommy.

Happy Mothers Day to someone who is obviously a great mom.

Glad to see that you had a lovely day too.

I’m glad for my terrific mother-in-law. I’ve lost my Mum and Nana.
