Good thoughts for a Friend please
Posted By Kathleen David on September 20, 2006
I found out that a buddy of mine Rabbi David ending up in the hospital this morning with a minor heart attack. He thought it was a panic attack but then figured out that it wasn’t. So any good wishes, prayers, good thoughts for him and his wife Alexandra are appreciated. He is a good guy and a fabulous country singer along with being a Rabbi.
Caroline is running one of those low fevers which makes it unadvisable to take her out into the general population. Partly for their protection and partly for hers since fevers can make one susceptible to other germs that are floating around. So my morning is going to revolve around her and her needs.
I am sort of feeling better. I am waiting for my energy level to come back up to normal but not so far. I am tired of feeling tired but I know I am feeling better since I am noticing how tired I am feeling which I wasn’t before. How’s that for a circular sentence.
I have this puppet/doll idea I want to try but I need to get the unicorn done first. I am going to do the Farpoint Art Show this year. I want to put new stuff in there although the 10 Doctors would probably go over very well there. Fluzzies would be good there as well. We have/had an idea for a costume but now are concerned that by the time we do it, it will be passé but the kids are still game so we might do it anyway. If we are I need to get on the ball but first the house for this weekend. I need to be a little engine that could which I have done before and will do so again.
I have a Vox account now. It will mostly be puppet related and also not an every day thing but when I have something on building or other puppeteers. I am Kath the Puppeteer on VOX if you want to add me to your “family”. I have a few invites as well if anyone wants them. I also have a ton of g-mail accounts if anyone doesn’t have one of those and that has been come my working address which is puppetmaker (at) gmail (dot) com.
Off to clean the house for company. I hope everyone has a good day today.
I am grateful that David got to the hospital in time.
Terribly sorry to hear about your friend. I wish him a speedy recovery. It’s good to hear that you are on the mend, but not so good to hear that Caroline is coming with something. Oh, well, they grow out of that eventually.
I’ve been at the sewing machine, like a good little “vegemite”. I made 2 bear costumes yesterday that the dancing studio can use to check sizing for the rest I have to make. Today, I’m making a blouse for myself to wear to No 3 son’s Yr 12 Formal dinner. Some find it weird that the parents go to this. The School sees it as a celebration of the 13 year journey that the child, parents and school have made together. Anyay I have the most gorgeous cream coloured sand-washed 100%pure silk satin.
Anyway, I’ve to drive the kids to school, get to the Pilates Studio, and then get back to sewing.
CHeerio
