A Few Things

Lea Hernandez house burned yesterday. She and her family got out but the pets were not as lucky. More details at Peter’s website. (www.peterdavid.net). She did the alternative “manga” Punisher with Peter. I have always loved her art and visual story telling abilities.
Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of the first airing of “Man Trap” and began the Star Trek dynasty. One show that has done so much for fandom as a whole.
Saturday is my 43rd birthday. I have been thinking back on the year and reflecting on another year lived. More on that probably tomorrow or Saturday.
Today is getting ready to go home, shipping off the stuff (puppets) that my parents really don’t need hanging around their house, and packing up our bags. Caroline was a sick little girl yesterday and spent a lot of time in my lap. This morning she seems much better and is back to herself. I am also going to have lunch with a couple of friends from high school I haven’t seen in a while.
I am grateful that we are spending time with my parents.
I absolutely loved reading about your puppets immediately following your comment about the upcoming 43rd birthday and introspection. I wish that more people were able to hold onto that creative side and inner child in them. We’d have a much healthier world.
Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday for tomorrow (it’s Friday morning here now). I wish it for you now, as Saturday mornings are always nuts and I can’t always get to the computer.
Sorry to hear about your friends’ misfortune.
It’s always good to catch up with old school friends.
Cheerio
