Shoreleave is closer than I thought

Posted By on June 26, 2006

Nothing new on the keys yet. *sigh*

Weather continues to be a crap shoot. We haven’t had any thunder so Peter has been able to work on a Star Trek Short Story he is trying to get done before Shoreleave. I can’t remember which anthology this one is for. It might be the Mirror Universe one.

I am glad that Corteo is on DVD already. Caroline has been re-watching her favorite parts of the show. We have not seen an increase in bed jumping as we feared. She is trying to figure out how to juggle. We got her a set of juggling balls and she is working it out for herself so far. I haven’t juggled since college. I did find out that I can still do a simple pass if push comes to shove.

Today is a bunch of errands and Ariel is going to be able to watch Caroline so I can do them quickly. Then it is on to a couple of costumes and a look over another to make sure it is still usable. It’s a little less than 2 weeks to Shoreleave and I am racing to the finish again (so what else is new?)

I am grateful for Crayola’s new markers that only mark on special paper.

    Greetings!

I asked this question of Peter on his blog, but I think it got buried. I am thinking of going up to Shore Leave just on Sunday, but I would only go if I had the opportunity to meet Peter and have him sign my copy of Imzadi that Marina Sirtis has signed. I’ve only seen on the preliminary schedule that Mystery Trekkie Theater is on Sunday evening. Would Peter be able to speak with fans then, or is there a more formal “meet the fans” opportunity at some other time?

    Thanks!

I’m amazed you haven’t had any thunder — we’ve been getting absolutely pummeled out here in NJ, and so far as I can tell on the radar you’re getting hit with the same storm system. Count your blessings, I guess.

Continued good wishes about the keys!
