Dan Curtis passes into the Dark Shadows

I am sad to say that Dan Curtis died yesterday of brain cancer. His wife, Norma, pre-deceased him by three weeks. He was also the producer of “Winds of War” and “War and Remembrance” which had a great following as well. I can’t even begin to tell you the number of people I have met through Dark Shadows fandom. It is a touchstone for many a fan. I think I am going to pull out my DVDs and visit Collinwood again today.
I am grateful that Dan Curtis did create Dark Shadows from a very bad dream.
