RTBTCKI ( The House Cleaning Edition)
Posted By Kathleen David on March 23, 2006
I have over half of the living room done. I want to get the living room completed today and spend tomorrow on the dining room and kitchen then the house will be ready for possible visitors this weekend. Today is Mommy and Me. That is a chunk of the morning that I lose between the driving and the class itself. But it is only once a week and it is important for Caroline to interact with other kids her age.
Because I am cleaning, my dust allergy is in full force which is making me watery eyed and sniffy with a lot of sneezing attached to it. I really don’t like sneezing but I know it is a necessary part of life. I hate sneezing while I am driving.
I am finding things I had had been frantically looking for at one point or another but no longer. At least I now know where they are.
I found a use for the V mask that Peter got at WonderCon. I have it placed just so under Peter’s King Arthur helm which makes for a very spooky piece. Spooky works well in this house. I also pulled forward our Simpson’s Tree House of Horror diorama with Lucy Lawless and the Comic Book geek. Our house is an eclectic mix of stuff and I like it that way.
I am grateful for all the parts of the house that are already clean.
Sounds like the day I have coming up (it’s about 7:20am Friday morning, pre-coffee). Except I’ve having brekky out with my 2 oldest sons this morning. Number 2 son is due in , in about 2 hours. He’s driving up from University (410kms).
Sniffles are starting here with the coming of Autumn, so I need to vaccuum and dust like there’s no tommorow, plus if I want to get any patchwork done I have to find a clear tabletop – something akin to finding a needle in a haystack.
We had the busy weekend last weekend with daughter’s birthday sleepover and friends staying from interstate.
Have a good weekend. 🙂
