Brain Fog Again

Posted By on January 24, 2006

It is a brain fog morning. I woke up with a pounding headache and am trying to get that down to a dull roar so I can function this morning.

Early I couldn’t get to my main account mail or the website it is attached to. I called my parents and they could get on to the website I was trying to get to load but another friend in NJ wasn’t able to get onto his account either so I am thinking it is a North East problem rather than the whole network. It sorted itself out about 20 minutes ago.

Not as much done yesterday as I would like but I think that has almost become a chant for me. The last day I feel I managed to get enough done that I had really accomplished something significant was probably about 2 weeks ago. Today if I can get my head to clear I think I will be able to get a chunk done on one of two projects.

There was a debate on one of the many art groups I am about what is a tribute to another’s work and what is a swipe. This lead to a sub-discussion about people who recreate movie and TV props and costumes to sell. It is a lively conversation with people on all sides of the issue. I am sort of the middle of the road on this one seeing all sides of the issue. I think that some of the examples that have been presented are very much in violation of any copyright laws I know of but others are harder to judge. Especially with the use of collage more and more in art. If you do an aquatic piece with a bunch of frogs and include a small Kermit are you violating copyright? It is an issue that there are no easy answers to.

I am grateful for anything that can clear my head right now.

I’m right there with you with the headache issue. I woke up with the faint rumblings of one that has only worsened throughout the morning. Though my migraines aren’t as intense or regular as they were a few years back, they leave me feeling like a dope for the day or two that they occur on. Wake up with it and it tends to last for a few days with periods of slight lessening. While the pain usually isn’t as intense, it is distracting as all get out and leaves me with a real deficit in communication skills when I’m in the middle of it.

    Feel better.

Hi just had to write seeing as there IS another Fred Chamberlain out there! this one lives in London U.K. My other reason for dropping this email was to mention that i as well “suffer” with very bad heads, ones where you feel sick all you want/need is a dark room to go & die in. Well thats it from me for now?? all the very best to whoever reads this, Fred.

There is yet another one out here. I live in Worthing UK and don’t get bad heads any more. I used to in the old days Anadin Extra was the best solution.

hmmm… actually, I am Fred the 4th. Though the first two are no longer around, there are plenty of others. Do a google and the most notable is a well known individual who works in the field of cryogenics.
