2006 Begins
Posted By Kathleen David on January 1, 2006
First things first. Happy Birthday Gwen! I hope you had a good evening/morning and the rest of the day rocks for you.
Someone pointed out that once we hit 2010 in four years, the novelty glassware manufactures are going to cry. From 1980 to 2009 there have be great locations for the eyeholes on those silly glasses that everyone wears on New Years Eve and then wonders why they bought them the next day.
Bowling went well. Caroline learned after a couple of meltdowns to wait her turn. The buffet was the typical buffet but the company was good and we all had fun. We went to a neighbor’s house to watch the ball drop. Ðìçk Clark was painful to listen to but we did because it is tradition. Caroline fell asleep on Peter’s lap so we brought her home and then went to bed ourselves.
I am grateful that 2005 is over and am looking forward to 2006.
HB, Gwen! !
Kath, it will really be 2011 that offers the problems for the glasses, 2010 is set up fairly well, little off center, but very workable.
I wish you and your family a Happy New Year!
