Happy Birthday Peter!

Posted By on September 23, 2005

First off I want to wish my husband a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Yes, today is Peter’s Birthday. He got up at 5:30 this morning to get to the airport only to find out that his flight had been cancelled and he has to wait until 11:30 for the next flight. *sigh* I am hoping that the rest of his travel goes better for him.

Peter finished writing “Fall of Knight” and I have done a read and minor corrections on it. Wow! Best King Arthur novel he has written. I really can’t say much more other than I kept waiting for him to write more so I could read more. I also read the script for X-Factor 4 and I must say that he is doing some very interesting stuff in the book. We got more art for Fallen Angel and it is as beautiful as the first pieces we saw.

We watched “Dance with the Stars” the dance off last night well the last half hour which was the new stuff and I am so glad that John O’Hurley won. He and Charlotte so deserved it. If you watched it did you see the looks that Kelly threw them after the winner was announced? That fell into “If looks could kill” category. Oh she made nice nice when the camera was on her but there was a quick shot after it was announced that John had won, the raw anger on her face was evident. After that we watched Celebrity Poker Showdown. We were cheering for Kathy Nijimy who is a brillant actress and comedian. Rosie O’Donnell showed up to add some color and off-color commentary. All the while we were watching TV, we were getting Peter ready to go off to South Dakota.

So it is an all girls weekend this weekend. Ariel had a football game that she is playing in the band for. She has her bowling league Saturday morning. I think we are going to see if we can get a babysitter and we’ll go see Corpse Bride. Right now I think I am going get started on cleaning up the house.

I am grateful I get to read everything my husband writes.

Not the most fun way to spend a birthday! Please pass on my best wishes to him, Kath – even though I expressed them on his blog about 100 others did as well so he might not see them. 🙂

I can’t believe the money I made at the bar betting on John. He HAD to win so they could have another dance-off to break the tie. I love when things are SO predictable.

I’ve just read the announcement of Peter’s birthday today.

Dear lady, you’re a class act!

    Peter’s a VERY lucky man!
