Vacation Fallout
Posted By Kathleen David on July 27, 2005
It is amazing how much work it takes to get ready for vacation and how much work to return from vacation. Mail has to be sorted. Newspapers worked through and packaged. Laundry needs to be done. The stuff bought on the trip needs to find a new home within the house. Then there are the few things that you left hanging when you left just because you couldn’t get to them but you knew that they would be first on the list when you get back. I feel I need a vacation from our return from vacation.
We have a week and a half before Crescent City Con so I have to keep an eye on that too. I have a doll due for a challenge that I have started on but now really need to get cracking on. I also want to get at least one more puppet done for CCC since I will be showing in the art show. I don’t know if I will get the ATC done before DragonCon. I want to get at least one mask done too. Peter is working hëll bent for leather to finish the New Frontier’s Novel before we go so I am taking point on Caroline. We’ll see what I can do and get done in the time allotted.
I am grateful for whatever I can get done today.
So with all the stuff you guys collect, Kath when are you opening up the “David Family Museum of Antiquities, Collectibles and other Stuff”?
BTW, since I don’t post on Peter’s board anymore, I can’t ask directly, but does anyone know why it’s so hard to get a picture of the skyline of Schnectady or a roadsign? Did they fall into a black hole or something?
Hi Kathleen. I am really enjoying reading your (and your hubby’s) posts. I recently watched a tape of some Angel episodes I had missed. One episode was Angel being turned into a puppet. Do you know who did that puppet, and will it ever be offered for sale at auction?
Dave W.-
None were sold at auction nor do I think they will be. There was an OK replica made of the puppet but it was off model even though they measured the original. David B. (Angel) has one of them. Joss has another. I did have the name of the company that did the puppets but can’t find it now. I made a tribute puppet that a lot of people liked

It has to do with copyright of the photo. Peter needs photos with no encumbrances for the book he is writing.
