I didn’t get much sewing done but I made some great finds at the thrift store. So I’ll take the number of hours that I am NOT sewing and feel like I may be a bit ahead. Going to get back to the sewing machine today to finish up the next two costumes. Then I have only two other BIG sewing projects and I am down the accessories for the costumes. Down to is probably not the right phrase but it will be easier when I get to those.
Peter set up a ball pit in his office for Caroline. Caroline loves it. She has even started putting all her other balls into it. Makes the living room cleaner because all her various balls are down in the ball pit.
After I get done with the costumes for Shoreleave, I am going full bore on my art for DragonCon along with the doll I need to make for the exhibit. No costumes for me at DragonCon this year. I might be on the costuming panels if they will have me. I wouldn’t mind being on panels at Shoreleave either but I am not pushing it since they have Peter doing so much stuff that Caroline can become an issue.
I am grateful for Peter’s idea to get the ball pit for his office.
I just haveta say, I am grateful for the glimpse into the David household that this website allows me. It’s reassuring to see that a great author and a great costumer (is that the correct term?) also deal with the everyday pitfalls of life (such as a living room floor covered with kid’s toys!)
So, thanks again for allowing us into your life.
