Today 20 years ago I graduated from Emory University. I found this out when I was going through some stuff in an old filing cabinet and found an invitation to the graduation ceremony. When I look back on all I have done in the past 20 years, I feeling pretty good about myself. I have done and seen some pretty interesting things. I can’t complain about my life being sedate at any point.
I am grateful for the past 20 years.
Yeah, I remember being at a party last Thursday, talking with someone about where I went to school, and realizing I’d graduated from there a year and two days ago.
And after all this time, the football team is still undefeated!
Assuming you took English classes, did you have any with Dr. Bugge? For some reason, all the girls in my class had a crush on him.
That should have read “Assuming you were an English major.” Oy.
Michael-
I had Dr. Bugge for a couple of classes and stage managed a couple of shows he was in. He was always a gentleman and a good actor.
My mother taught in the Nursing School for years and ended up on a number of commitees with him so over the years we got to know the whole family.

I know what you mean about time playing tricks on you…yesterday, my brother handed me a ticket he had saved from my high school production of “Camelot” (I was both Merlin and Pelinore in that show) 20 freaking years ago! 1985 just doesn’t seem like it should be that long ago.
