Can We Just Play Ball?

The Baseball season is a week old now but there is already speculation leading into October. Whatever happened to just enjoying the games rather than always trying to predict the end of a season? I am enjoying just being able to turn on a TV and watch baseball again.
Soon the Long Island Ducks will be starting to play again and we will probably go to a couple of games at that park. The Ducks won the Atlantic league this past year so they are starting out as the team to beat. Just to add to the fun, they have hired Johnny Rocker as a starting pitcher. You may remember Rocker did not have nice things to say about New York City and its inhabitants. He has joined the Ducks because he wants a venue for the major league to see that he can still pitch.
