Recently on Spike TV there was a TV series called The Ultimate Warrior which pitted a bunch of guys of various fighting styles against each other with a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The UFC is popular on the pay per view circuit. The combat seems to be based on a movie called

    The UFC show was The Ultimate Fighter, the Ultimate Warrior is the nutjob who used to werestle for the WWF (now WWE)

    One keeps wondering when Rollerball will be introduced as an actual team and league sport, one does.

    (Along with drunks playing with Gyro-Jet pistols destroying trees and so forth, of course.)

    Thanks for the mention of our son Al who died recently. I am his mother Elaine in Macon, Ga. We still miss Al terribly, but we hope that the world is better because he lived in it. His wife and daughter are coping, but it is a real tragedy for us all.
