Caroline may have an earache. She had a bad time of it yesterday and kept tugging her right ear. We have a Doctor

Yeah, sounds like an ear infection. Poor kid. Those are no fun at all. The good news is that the doctor should be able to give her antibiotics that will clear it up fast. They tend to give kids a double dose up front to attack the infection, and within twelve hours the difference is huge.

Best of luck with Caroline. I hope she is feeling better really soon.

My first daughter, the Caroline doppleganger, used to get ear infections all the time. It got to the point where we just always kept a steady supply of amoxcyllian on hand (one friend, a doctor, actually had it available in a powdered form, ready to mix when needed)).

It was partly our fault for letting her have a bottle at night (She would dribble into her ear as she slept) though our second daughter had no such problem.

I’ve almost forgotten the smells of amoxyllian and pedialight. I mis most aspects of my daughter’s infancy but not those two.
