More power to you. I was under the impression that writing let Peter David be a work-at-home-and-stay-at-home dad. I have thought about having or adopting kids in the past (probably won’t ever) and I’m a bit curious as to how you will handle the tension if you get the job you are looking for and don’t have as much time for your child as you do now, but I guess all parents have to figure that one out. My mom worked more often when my dad passed away so I was a bit of a latchkey kid, but I think that I turned out well enough (for now.)

Actually, not being a woman I probably shouldn’t say anything, but both my mother and sister raised eight kids each pretty much by themselves AND worked outside the home. Not because they wanted to but because they HAD to.

So yeah, I’m old fashioned in my beliefs and I cling to traditions. Blame my mom.
