Just Kickin’ Down the Cobblestones

There are places in New England were cobblestones still exist. I can remember as a kid in Boston going to some historical area and found myself walking on cobblestones. There are places in New York City were the streets haven
Cobblestones… reminds me that when I was a teenager they dup up Fayetteville street here in Raleigh to lay down a mall. (Interesting sidenote, They’re now about to tear down the mall to put in a street) Anyway, when they tore up the street they discovered two things. Cobble stones and tracks. Seems not only was Fayeteville street once paved with cobble stones, but Raleigh once had a trolley. They dug up the cobblestones and tracks, but they did put replicas of the trolleys, updated as modern buses back in service for the downtown area.
And if you know who has your old puppets, Kath, maybe you could ask them to take a picture and send it to you.
