Well, geez, of course you’d have gone with the pizza at Yale — New Haven’s got *Pepe’s*, for heaven’s sake. 🙂

Yeah, but neither Pepe’s nor Sally’s (or even Pepe’s annex The Spot for that matter) delivers. And trying to find parking on Wooster Street? Nah, pizza for Yalies other than special occasions was Naples or Yorkside. Nowhere near as good, but *much* more convenient.

    Hi,

I reviewed some of your writings and you seem to have a wealth of knowledge. I was wondering if you might be able to answer some questions for me as I am unable to decifer for myself. I am creating a jewelry line that will incorporate Gregg Shorthand in its designs and I have received a patent on its concept. Now however I am questioning whether or not my patent attorney was correct when he stated that I will not be infringing upon copyright issues pertaining to Gregg Shorthand since it has been used for years. Do you happen to know? The other is that I have also come up with cute names for the different items of jewelry and would like to trademark them. One unfortunately is already trademarked by another company so I will have to come up with a different one and that is very unfortunate as it fit so well. Do I have to have my products being sold prior to requesting a trademark? That seems very difficult to do as I am discussing the names to create an interest to buyers while in the process of development. Any help you can give me in answering these questions would be greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed viewing your site.

    Sincerely,

    Valarie Martinson

We are very lucky where we live. I get organic fruits and vegeys delivered once a week from a local farm. I also get milk delivered once a week from Smith Brothers. No hormones! I still have to buy all else at the grocery, but nothing beats fresh produce for my Mattie. And those pics of Caroline in the snow are adorable.

I don’t understand the whole “Temple” analogy thing myself. A temple is a building just like any other, but though I worship there and respect the building, I live at home and I’m even more particular about what happens there.

In fact, isn’t a temple supposed to be open to anyone?

Saw Caroline’s Pictures in the snow. Kind of reminded me of one strip of FOR BETTER OR WORSE recently when Mike’s daughter first discovered snow. I think she even had on a similar snow suit.

I can think of a couple of people I knew in college for whom that description might in fact be quite apt. 🙂
