First Snow December 2004

We started with rain which turned to sleet and then to snow. The snow is minimal but it is the light powdery stuff that blows in the wind so easily. The biggest problem right now is the wind. It turned the standing water on the road to a sheet of ice very quickly and dropped the wind chill to about 0. The loose snow is blowing all around. The sun has come out now which means that in a bit I have to go out and salt the steps or they won
