For you Kath. Beethoven’s 7th symphony, 2nd movement.

Gotta tell you though, since you said you had the hives, it was so tempting to include “Flight of the Bumblebee”. Not by Beethoven, true, but god it would have been funny. Well, to me anyway. :^)

    Hope you feel better soon.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra, creators and performers of wonderul holiday music, also have a non-holiday rock opera out on CD titled “Beethoven’s Last Night.” It’s a fable about how Fate comes to Beethoven on the last night of his life, and offers to tour his life with him, and make any changes that he requests. It combines the music of Beethoven himself, along with some of Mozart’s work, and their own original tunes, and is a great listen.

I was disappointed by “Earthsea” also. Besides the comments you made, I thought the end was completely rushed and felt forced. I really need to go back and reread the books to get this sour taste the mini series left out of my head.
