Holiday Cataloguing

We did go to the comic book store yesterday but avoided the mall. We got our usual comics and went to a restaurant that we both like which was across from a major mall. We arrived right before the lunch crowd did. By the time we left the place was crowded with shoppers and their families.
The catalogues are descending on the household. There has been a marked increase in catalogues in our mailbox. Some of them I enjoy going through. Yesterday we received the Museum Replicas catalogue and the Disney Holiday sale catalogue along with a bunch that went into recycling without looking. The newspapers are stuffed with circulars for just about every store on Long Island. I really enjoy the Museum Replicas catalogue. It is one of those that I want just about everything in the catalogue but know that I would not have enough room for all the weapons and cloths they have for sale.

Oh, I have fond memories of Archie McPhee. They’ve been around forever; I used to collect their catalogs every year for keeps. I probably still have them around somewhere…
