Torah Torah Torah

Last night I held part of the Torah. It was the Simchat Torah service where the cantor and, in this case, the congregation say the last and first words of the Torah. To get back to the beginning they unroll the torah in the hands of the congregation and then roll it back to the beginning. I had just picked up Caroline who had been running around like one of Peter Pan
“How many adults have an Opus Penguin on top of their TV set?”
Probably more than the number of adults with a sign on their bedroom door saying “Area Closed Due to Nervous Mother and Newborn Young”. 🙂 [It was a gift from Lisa’s mom from her days as a designer at the Nat’l Zoo. Everyone at the shower agreed it was the best gift of the day.]
Regardless … yeah, sounds a lot like I’d imagine the David household. 🙂

Probably very few people are willing to risk having a penguin on top of the telly due to the chance of explosion.
