I had a class to go to last night so I couldn’t watch the entire debate. I am, of course, a Bush supporter, but I think Kerry won the debate from what I saw.
Bush’s biggest problem last night seemed to be that he was groping for words which made him seem unprepared and unsure of his answers.
I think that Bush also hammered away at the “flip-flop” issue way too many times. I wouldn’t have and I’m surprised his handlers didn’t tell Bush to make his point and move on.
If I were Bush’s handler, I would have centered in on Kerry’s lack of a prominent senate record. I would have hammered away at the votes against the nation’s defense systems.
I do think that Bush nailed Kerry on the points about getting more international help.
I think Cheney’s going to spank Edwards.
I had a game like Caroline’s when I was younger. I think she just likes the sensation of being dizzy. She’ll get over it after about a week or two.
