Learning to Jump

Caroline is learning to jump. She puts her legs on either side of one of the large bears and then proceeds to to squats until she starts to become airborne then the little feet pound the floor with happy rhythm. When she eventually falls forwards, she falls into the soft bear.
I managed to clear off my desk so it is usable again. These things tend to go in cycles around here. Right now I can use my desk and rest of the living room doesn
Kath:
Something I’ve been wondering for a while now. I’m sure you love the time you’re spending with Caroline, and it might be different for you because you have your blog and Peter around the house, but do you find yourself growing weary of talking baby talk or having no more deep a conversation than about Barney the Dinosaur all day? (Which, by the way have you ever notice that Barney looks like Dino that needs to go on a diet?)
Well Barney is forbidden in this house. I never liked the big purple so and so for a myriad a reasons. Muppets, Oobie, Tiny Planets, and Fraggle Rock are allowed. Mostly puppet related stuff. But that is beside the point.
I think the internet has helped since I do talk to various people on the internet. I have a group of friends I hang with in the city on occation. So I have the deep and shallow conversations. I can lose myself in a puppet or doll for a period of time. Peter gives me time to myself and I do the same for him. So we have a nice balance. There are neighbors we are friends with that we go bowling with. So I don’t feel like I am shut in with the baby. We also tend to speak to her in whole sentences rather than baby talk. Translating what she is saying can be the fun part.
