Caroline is on the cusp of real verbal communication. She has a series of words and had put together a couple of sentences like
Good luck to Peter in getting that autograph: from what I’m hearing the lines are immense. (Lisa and I might do something similar when he’s up in the Bay Area next week, but we’re not sure.)
And congrats on Caroline’s semi-verbalness — it’s neat to hear how that all starts taking shape!

Women have it so easy when it comes to getting men gifts. A foam head. If I’d tried to give my girlfriend something like that for an anniversary gift, we’d have broken up much sooner than we already did.
Or maybe it’s just PAD.
Well the foam head was used in the filming of a movie we both love. He has gotten me some really cool stuff for birthdays and anniversaries which would make most people scratch their heads in wonderment. We know what each other loves and we look for things we think the other party would like. He got me a crew sweatshirt from the movie Labyrinth for Mother’s Day. I love it.
