I think I saw the original movie at sometime on TBS but if I did I have a very hazy memory of it. I do know the premise and the payoff which I think at this time everyone does. Peter and I went to see the remake the other day. I have noticed that reviewers who had seen the original and liked it had issues with this version especially if they really liked it. I wanted to see it because I have liked Frank Oz
