Changing Sesame Street to C-Span? Yeesh, no wonder she was looking panicky. 🙂 (Could’ve been worse … could’ve been Faux News.)
I’m told by my parents that I was quite irate to have the Watergate hearings disrupting my Sesame Street time. I’m also told that I said more than once, “I can’t wait until I’m grown up so I can watch Watergate.”
Love the “Freeze” game — I’ll have to watch for that once ours is old enough!

Oh that’s so cute!! I wonder how long she’ll be scared of the remote? The funny thing about kids, they always forget why they were scared of/not supposed to touch/only allowed with a grownup present.
I think the one thing that truly amazes me the most about children is that they each have their own unique little personality from day one.
In our house, we have none of our own little “cutesie toes” running around, but we have many many nephews and nieces. Kirk is the oldest of 9 kids, all who are grown now and most have started families.
One set of nephews are twins, and even they have always shown diversity in their personalities. Same size, same little marble brown eyes, but never the same ideas about favorite toys, activities, foods or people. It just amazes me that we are so complex and we could be so different even at birth where we really have had no special input other than what we inherit in our genes. There’s more than just the physical way we look, I guess we inherit more than our pretty faces… =)
this could be a a good thing
afraid of remote= no TV!
when she grows up that can be a good thing!
