    I think your premise is correct. Movies are more a melting pot and books are done more alone.
    Books are mostly a solo project especially if it is an original work. There are some book series that are generated in house and then the author is given their part of the book.

    You know, Kathleen, your response to Mr. Hendrix was quite interesting. Your comments about the Star Wars approval process brought something to mind. Specifically the continuity issues in Star Trek: Nemesis and the continuity issues in the last two Star Wars films. It has me wondering why the honchos at both franchises don’t hire a die-hard fan as a Continuity Consultant. I don’t expect an answer because I’m fairly certain that you may not have such answers. It’s just something that’s been bouncing about my head for a while and your response to Mr. Hendrix brought it to the front of my brain.

    On another subject, your puppets to be precise, what kind of money would be involved in a custom project? For example if I wanted to purchase a puppet designed to certain specs what would it cost me to gain your interest?
