The Power of Bob Barker

Peter admitted that he was very skeptical when I told him of the power of The Price is Right. But he beheld the proof with his own eyes. Caroline takes one nap a day. She usually sleep from 90 min. to 3 hours depending on what sort of night she had. About 11 am, she usually shows the signs of wanting to take a nap, but not wanting to take a nap. I found the perfect sleep aid by accident. I turned on the TV one day and the Price is Right came on. Caroline had been squiggling in my lap and fussing, but once Bob Barker started to talk she stopped. She watched in fascination and then slowly fell asleep. I thought OK, that was neat. I’m not sure if Bob would appreciate knowing that part of his audience only watches his show to fall asleep… after all, how can they sell her anything if she sleeps through it? 🙂

You know, though, I wonder if Kath realizes that she’s training her daughter to be a tv junkie from an early age?
