It is amazing how a little thing can so affect other things in your life. I was having trouble threading a needle and this was bothering me. Recently I have had an eyelid flutter which is in both eyes and driving me crazy. I put it down to stress and there was nothing I could do about it. Since I was having some serious needle threading problems, I went to see my local eye doctor for an exam. I found out it had been two years since the last one and since then my stigmatism has gotten a lot worse to where I need to wear glasses for detail work, reading, and the computer. The eyelid flutter and the fatigue I have been feeling are probably related to eyestrain since I do a lot of detail work and reading. With any luck my new glasses will help solve these problems so I can get done what I need to get done. The floaters I am stuck with but they are not harmful. The eye pressure is a known quantity since I had that checked out last year with the diagnosis that it wasn’t glaucoma but the fact that my corneas are so thick that the machine most doctors use to read them is going to give a false positive. Distance is still fine. Guess I have to go pick up my “I’m middle aged” card now.<\/p>\n
So I am limited until the eyes start to bother me in terms of my detail work. I gave my eyes the day off yesterday but plan to get back into the puppet fray today. So I am where I was yesterday morning. It is going to be interesting to see how Caroline reacts to Mommy wearing glasses. She knows that Daddy and Ariel do but Mommy doesn’t but Mommy does wear Sunglasses when she is outside.<\/p>\n
