I have many fond memories and I would like to give a shout out to my Mother, my Aunt Mary Ann, Jeff Polston who managed to make my hair look amazing, my sister-in-law Carrie for my wedding bouquet, my Father, Angelo Ritz for preparing the food, Jeff Watkins for allows us to use the Shakespeare Tavern for the reception, my Bridesmaids Sheila, Rozana, and Mary Aileen and Peter\u2019s groomsmen Harlan, Gunter David (Peter\u2019s father), and Wally David (Peter\u2019s brother).<\/p>\n\n\n\n We went to our first in person convention this past weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I highly recommend PensaCon both as a guest of the convention and an attendee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They had all kinds of safety measures in place for the good of all. Hand sanitizer was avalible just about everywhere you turned. Masks were worn correctly and social distancing was enforced. No hugs or high fives with the guests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n They take care of their guests from providing them transport not only to the convention but wherever else we needed to go like a restaurant or a drug store. All the drivers were very professional, and we had a lot of interesting conversations with them and the other people in the van.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our first trip to the convention center we were joined by a very lovely lady who introduced herself as Trina. We had a nice conversation about conventions and setting things up. It was only later that we found out we had met a Bond Girl as she played Thumper in Diamonds are Forever. She is a delight to talk to so if you get a chance, do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n James Remar is a character actor that you have probably seen in something. Currently he is playing Peter Gambi on \u2018Black Lighting\u2019. You might remember him as Dexter\u2019s Dad in \u2018Dexter\u2019 or Ajax in \u2018The Warriors\u2019 He is also a voice actor with a lot of animation credits including Ben 10, Legend of Kora, and Batman: Brave and Bold. But the role we remember him for is Quill from \u2018the Phantom\u2019. We got to talk to him about that and other roles he has done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n (For the VI: On the left is Peter in his Avengers Endgame jacket holding a photo signed by James and on the right is James Remar in a blue shirt. He has a brown beard and brown hair.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have worked conventions longer than Star Trek the Next Generation has been on the air. Over the years we have become friends with a number of the actors. A lot of it has to do with Peter\u2019s Star Trek novels. They love how he wrote their characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I was sitting at lunch with a number of actors and managers and we were talking about the show and how much fun it was interacting with the fans. We got to talking about some of the most touching encounters. One of the people sitting at the table was Denise Crosby who we have done a number of convention with. She kept looking at me trying to place me. Finally she said, \u201cOK, I know you but can\u2019t recall your name.\u201d I replied, \u201cI am Kathleen David puppeteer and wife to Peter David.\u201d I took her to see Peter at the Bard\u2019s tower and they had a short and nice conversation. I then got her back to where she needed to be. She is such a lovely person and I enjoy watching her with the fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (For the VI: On the left is Peter wearing his Avengers Endgame jacket and on the right is Denise Crosby. Both are smiling at the camera.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nick Maley was the last person I had to meet to complete my set of people who worked on the original Yoda puppet. We had a very nice conversation about building Yoda and the upgrades over the years. I had Sherlock Hemlock with me so I took a photo op and got this Photo.
