Today marks the first official patient with the COVID-19 recorded in New York city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The beginning of our national and global nightmare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am proud that I have made it this far with only a couple of meltdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I chalk it up to my family, my friends, my support system, and medication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has not been easy, but it is getting easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As of today, I can get the vaccine from the New York supply. This will be a lot of checking and refreshing until I get lucky. I am looking forward to getting a crack at the federal supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I hate not knowing what is next. That has giving me more anxiety than just about anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At least now I am getting better information in a timely fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having a job helps my mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Being creative helps my mental health. I have begun to accept my limitations and not beat myself up when I get behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
