He has his second shot scheduled. There was a serious sigh of relief in this household.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Vaccine will be available to me on March 1<sup>st<\/sup>. This means I will be refreshing the NY vaccine site a lot until I get an appointment. Caroline is looked at May for her shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was looking over my entries for last year on my web log.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A year ago, Caroline was in Miami Ohio for her&nbsp;Robotics competition. This year the contest was cancelled. Caroline is rather upset about this since she worked long and hard on that and this year, she would be a senior so she would be top dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had no idea what was on the horizon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since then, our world was turned upside down and sideways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We wear masks to keep each other safe. Now they are suggesting double masking to avoid the more contagious forms of COVID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think I am going to make some more masks to accommodate this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am glad that we have a better grasp on what is going on. The chaos this has caused is getting sorted out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The unknowing was probably hardest for me to cope with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am grateful for things that feel normal again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are coming up on the one-year mark of New York shutting down.
